At John Lewis Invictus Academy, S.T.E.A.M. stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Entrepreneurship.
Our program prepares scholars to think critically, create boldly, and lead with purpose as we work together in Shaping Our Future Through S.T.E.A.M.

Students don’t just learn about the future —they design it, build it, and lead it.

Through hands-on experiences, Project-Based Learning, and our Innovation Lab, scholars develop the skills needed for high school, college, careers, and beyond.

What is S.T.E.A.M.?

S.T.E.A.M. is an approach to learning that connects subjects through real-world challenges, creativity, and innovation.

Entrepreneurship at JLIA

As part of our S.T.E.A.M. focus, scholars learn to think like innovators and entrepreneurs.

Students are challenged to:

  • Work in teams to solve challenges
  • Present to authentic audiences
  • Develop leadership and responsibility
